Hi I’m Anna and I run the franchise South Staffordshire and Telford! I worked for Musical Moments pre pandemic for another franchisee and I loved it! Covid forced me to leave the job and I then settled down in Leeds with a full time instrumental teaching job. Once things started opening back up I knew teaching wasn’t something I wanted to do full time in the future (I secretly wanted to move back to Staffordshire and re-join Musical Moments). However, I didn’t want to not teach at all, I wanted a variety of work and Musical Moments gave me the flexibility to teach on the side as well.
When I had the opportunity to take on my own franchise in 2022 I knew I had to go for it. I loved the job and couldn’t wait to get back into it! Naturally, I was also very apprehensive, asking myself if it was the right thing, would I be able to run it myself, would people want to book me etc. Obviously, I went for it and as I always say, it was the best thing I ever decided to do! I think at the start I never realised how much support I would get.
The training was so helpful. Although I had already done the job before, I hadn’t run the business side of things (which for me was the scary bit). Maggie made it so easy for me to understand and follow and I came away from the training day feeling so confident and I wanted to get stuck in straight away. I was fully equipped with my kit box and all the materials I needed to run my franchise and I went out to approach clients.
I love how approachable Maggie and the rest of the team are. I’m not always one to ask questions in a group but no question is a silly one here and they always support me and help me whenever I need it. We learn so much from each other.
I’m so glad I took the opportunity. It’s such a rewarding job and I’m hoping to keep growing my franchise and get more clients to experience Musical Moments.
If you have the opportunity, my advice would be to 100% go for it and join the team, you won’t regret it!
