Our Story
The York team is led by Maggie with Jess and Jodie also delivering sessions. Maggie is a brass player with a background in teaching in special education, she also owns and manages Musical Moments UK as a whole.
Jodie is a Community Music graduate from the University of York and plays clarinet.
Jess is a secondary school Music teacher in York and on her 'days off' enjoys playing her violin in our sessions.
Maggie says: "My favourite activity is the live sing-alongs with the ukulele. It always amazes me how people who have lost their spoken words can still sing and remember lyrics. Using the ukulele for singing means I can get close to people, sing duets, let them take a solo while I just follow at their pace"
