I’m Ginnette — an experienced cornet player who has performed with some of the UK’s leading brass bands, including Yorkshire Imperial and Grimethorpe Colliery, and I’m now proudly playing with the world‑famous Brighouse & Rastrick Band. I’m also an Alzheimer’s Awareness Volunteer, with experience supporting Singing for the Brain sessions, where I see the power of music to spark joy, confidence and deep human connection.

 

For more than two decades I’ve worked in health and care, leading digital improvements that transformed services and strengthened both patient care and staff experience. I’m driven by making a positive difference — quickly, meaningfully and with heart. Choosing a new career path now means I can channel my lifelong musical skills into something that truly matters: bringing joy, energy and moments of real happiness to others through Musical Moments Wakefield.
