My Story

Hi I’m Anna and I run Musical Moments South Staffordshire and Telford. I have been part of the Musical Moments team since 2018 and bought my franchise in 2022.

I love making sure my sessions are inclusive and fun for all who attend. Making sure relatives feel welcome to create long-lasting memories with their family, encouraging staff who are in the session to join in and generally making sure whatever setting I am delivering a session in, everybody feels uplifted and full of positivity by the end. 

I love the Ukulele sing-alongs as it gets everyone interacting and singing along to memorable songs. I equally love performing on the flute as it gives the residents a nice moment to sit back and enjoy the music. I always get lots of lovely comments that the residents enjoy listening to the flute. I also love how the residents know me by my flute, when I’m setting up, I’ll often get a resident ask if I’ve bought my flute as they enjoy it so much!

A particular song that really brings joy to my sessions is “She’ll be coming round the mountain.” Everyone has lots of fun with this one and gives them a chance to be a bit “silly, ” plus when they see one resident do the “yeehaw” they all want a go which is so nice to see.
