Hello! I am Catherine and I run Musical Moments Redditch. I love delivering my sessions in local care homes and community settings because everyone in the room feels uplifted, energised and included. There is always lots of fun and laughter and I especially love it when other nearby staff members come dancing in. The joy is contagious!

 

It is hard to choose my favourite activity from my sessions but I love playing the ukulele and seeing less confident participants sing along with familiar tunes. The animal toys are always popular and bring smiles to people's faces. On repeat visits, it is wonderful to see the group's engagement increase. I also love discovering people's hidden talents for drumming, dancing and singing!

 

I am often asked how I remember everyone's names so quickly! I can't give away all my trade secrets but having been a primary school teacher definitely helps. I would love to meet and get to know  your residents or service users, so get in touch with me to book a session or find out more!
